A Lunch Date

I am constantly entertained by my little sidekicks.  I could and should write a book of the things they say and do throughout the day.  Sometimes they remind me of an old married couple.  They do everything together.  One of their favorite things to do is sit at their "little table" at mealtimes.  Here is a little glimpse into lunchtime.
Emily is belting Adele's Rolling In The Deep (she also was belting it in Walmart this week....priceless!)
Love how her feet are resting on his knees!
Here Nathan was telling Emily something about a wolf and Emily is obviously doubting it's validity
Now his feet on her knees....aren't they just too sweet???

This is his, "yes, I know I'm about to do something naughty but I'm going to flash my cute smile for mom so I don't get in trouble" face.

I'm so thankful that these two share the majority of my day with me.  They exhaust me most days, but it's a beautiful, treasured exhaustion.

A Pintrest project for Kelli

I am a huge fan of pinterest!  So many great ideas!  We moved Nathan into Emily's room and Kelli into Nathan's room so she could have her own space.  Kelli is such a great kid, a real delight.  She rarely complains, or asks for things she wants, she is one of the most contented children I've ever met.  So we wanted to make her room a special place.  So I sat her down and talked to her about what she wanted and then we searched all of her ideas on pinterest and made a plan.  We still have a couple projects to do, but the biggest parts are done, and she was anxious for me to share photos with you.  One of the things she wanted to incorporate in her room is the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).  So we combined two projects that she loved and here is the result....
