Our All Star

We wrapped up another regular season of baseball last week. Andrew and Kelli both played this year. Andrew on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Kelli on Tuesday and Thursday! It was a bit of a crazy schedule and we quickly realized we are going to have to do a divide and conquer strategy once the other two get older and start playing as well...it's gonna be nuts! But nuts is what you get when you have 4 kids, I guess! =) This year, Andrew's coach asked him to try out for the All Star Team and he did, and he made the team! We are super proud of him and are looking forward to see what this next month of All Star tournaments looks like! So our crazy baseball schedule has been extended through the month of July, every weekend, and I am predicting that come August 1st, we will be SUPER glad to be done with baseball! Every weekend in July there is a tournament, and only one is local. YIPEE!! (note sarcasm in my typing) =)

Kelli asked me to help her make this sign for Andrew's game...I didn't find out until later, that Andrew had asked her to make it!! An indication that humility is on our list of character qualities to work on developing with Andrew! =)

This was the last regular season game, and also happened to be on Nathan's 1st birthday!

Nathan loves going to the games, he wanders from person to person looking for handouts..

And he explores the fields

until he gets too close to the playing field and then someone wrangles him back to safety

and then looks for anyone who will give him a snack or something to drink...

The whole Mauch clan came out this night! Seriously, I want to thank Keith and Nancy especially, but also Dana and Amber, for all the help you guys were during the baseball season with Nathan! I was able to watch and enjoy the games a whole lot more because of you! I am very thankful and grateful for you all!
