One of Emily's new skills is talking in a language all her own and I absolutely love it! I finally was able to get some of it on video...please ignore all the junk laying around and focus on the cuteness of Emily! Hope this makes you smile!! Man I wish I knew what she was saying!!

I am so excited! I am leaving Wednesday morning to go to Ohio to see my sweet sister and her hubby Ted and of course sweet Teagan! I have SO much to do tomorrow that I know I wont get anything posted on here so I thought I would sign off now! But be ready for pictures galore when I return! Well I just checked Danielle's Facebook page and the info about the new baby are all over the place so I will share them with you now! Danielle had a sweet baby girl named Teagan Janae...she weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. She also has lots of brown curly hair! Hopefully we will have pictures to post soon!!!

Baby Is Here

Well Baby Lawver made a safe arrival! Since Danielle is a little groggy I thought I would wait to post all the details so she can tell those she wants to herself first. But wanted to let you know that the baby is here and is doing great! Danielle's AVM's were bothering her after the surgery so they gave her some meds that have made her groggy. She had a spinal for anesthesia and she is not liking the feeling of that, but otherwise she is doing good. The baby was nursing when we talked! I will post all the details and perhaps a picture later! Thanks for your prayers!

Today is baby day!

Today (Thurs, Sept 18th) is the day we have been waiting for! My sister Danielle and her hubby Ted are going to welcome there sweet bundle of joy into this world! She has a C-Section scheduled for 9am this morning Ohio time and we can't wait to hear all the details!! We love you Ted and Danielle and are praying all goes well this morning!! It seems like just yesterday, but Danielle was only 25 weeks when I took this picture! Isn't she beautiful! Can't wait to get some of the sweet baby on here!

Sign Language

Emily uses screaming to get her point across. It really grates on your nerves. The girl has some major volume. I was asking some ladies from church to pray that we would be able to figure out how to get her to stop doing it. One of the ladies prayed that night that Emily would find a different way to communicate and the next day I was out to lunch with a girlfriend of mine and she suggested that we try some sign language. I thought that was a great idea and perhaps an answer to the prayers from the night before so I headed to the library after lunch to get a book on baby signing. She isn't really consistent, but she sure gets a kick out of all of the rest of us doing different signs to try to figure out what it is that she wants! The book also said that some babies come up with their own signs. I had to laugh when I walked in to the kitchen the other day.
